About me
I’ve had a general interest in weather for some time, and a particular interest in extreme weather events.
My computing degree project focused on weather charts and satellite imagery. The software built for that project could:
- Identify frontal systems and categorise them as cold, warm or occluded
- Colour the identified fronts (red, blue or purple)
- Overlay the weather chart on satellite imagery taken around the same time
